So, it seems like the image issue is due to a linkage problem somewhere either in the database or in the folders on my server. There was an error on the image upload within the site admin, in addition to the (how i love auto-save! focus, katie, focus.) login images that are nowhere to be found.
Here’s my troubleshooting to-do list:
1. find out where wordpress images are stored and verify that they’re present
2. go into the php file for one of the pages w/missing links (prob login would be best) to make sure the links go to the same place
3. if links do not go to same place, change them so they do
4. once images are working, go ahead and upgrade to v2.3.3
5. pray that nothing else goes wrong
