Here’s a color palatte creator site I “stumbled upon” today (all by myself actually, aka sans StumbleUpon this time!) It could be old, could be new, but the point is that if you haven’t checked this out already, you’re missing out. Go make a color palette- or a pattern swatch!

There seems to be a new trend toward tools for designers that are popping up all over the place. If you haven’t tried Getty’s Moodstreams yet, GO… now! Its super cool. It has this entertainment quality about it. So while I am searching for images or movies, I watch the mood changing. There are sliders for different specifications, such as length of clip.

There are probably about a hundred other tools out there. These are merely examples to demonstrate the possibility and proclivity right now toward this kind of thing.

The only thing that really bugs me is that none of these tools were around back in the day (circa 1999) when I used to do graphic design!
