Ovü

Allowing women to track their fertility in an easy and stylish way.

The Ovü is made up of a lace arm band, with a highly sensitive thermistor attached on the inside that picks up changes in the Basal Body Temperature (BBT) of a woman.

This method of tracking fertility allows a dataset to be gathered of the woman’s cycle. This dataset, collected using actual sensors, allows women the tools to have more control over their bodies. Women go about their life as the temperature is tracked and uploaded to their online database.

Web-based game designed to translate memories (photos, text, voice) into a web-based game that gives feedback for the user as well as the occupational therapist.

[ in collaboration with Michael Yulin Ang, Rhys Filmer, Jennifer Shub, Gabriella Stiefbold ]

In KnockKnock, digital images are uploaded into the database, with an interface for the user to label certain events, or important memory triggers, such as birthdays or places. The reiteration of familiar (or not -so-familiar) photographs can reinforce the memory skills of the patient, minimize the progression of cognitive decline and allow patients to connect with loved ones during treatment.
