ART 3004 : Multimedia (3cr)
This course explores highly effective methods of communicating ideas and information based in the fundamental technique of storytelling. The elements of text, drawings, audio, video, image (photographs) and graphics will be combined to create powerful devices for communication. Students will utilize the latest animation, design and video editing tools (including Flash and Final Cut Pro) to plan, design, prototype, and produce multimedia projects. (Fall 2008, Spring 2009, Fall 2009)

Prerequisite: Computer Graphics I

ARH 4495 : Independent Study (3cr)
Students may undertake a research project with the approval and supervision of a member of the studio art faculty. (Spring 2009)

ART: Computer Graphics I (3cr)
An introduction to computer graphics using the Macintosh computer, this course will teach students to differentiate between various types of programs (draw, paint, and page layout) and provide hands-on experience in each. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign will be used. (Spring 2008)

Prerequisite: Drawing or 2d Design.(There is a digital media/graphic design facility equipped with Macintosh high-end computers, including individual state-of-the-art stations for each student. There are digital video cameras, printers, digital still cameras, and extra large format Epson printers.)
